Information and planning
The library and tools support general understanding and preparation of a project brief. They are not a site inspection, an equipment design, a diagnostic conclusion, code text, legal advice or permit approval. Verify current requirements with the authority responsible for the actual address and work.
Illustrations and calculations
Architectural and system illustrations are conceptual and not to scale. Arithmetic worksheets use your entered observations or scenario values. They do not establish local job prices, contractor availability, service pressure, equipment suitability or future water use.
Requests and contractor arrangements
A request is information for a person to review. It is not a quote, booking, service contract, guaranteed response time or emergency dispatch. The site does not perform plumbing work, rank businesses or certify contractors. Any provider discussion, assessment, quote, work agreement, payment and scheduling is a separate arrangement with that provider.
Immediate hazards
Do not wait for this reference or request form if conditions are unsafe or actively damaging. Use the appropriate direct emergency, utility, property-management or service channel. Do not expose concealed systems or approach hazards to gather information for a request.
Source material
Linked official publications belong to their publishers. The site summarises requirements and links to the source rather than reproducing copyrighted codes. Source dates describe the reference checked; they do not guarantee that an authority’s requirements remain unchanged.
Corrections
Send the page URL and a concise description of a suspected error through the request form. A source or installation error should be confirmed with the responsible authority.
